Abstract Submission Steps

Abstract Submission Guidelines
  • * These guidelines are for general participants, not invited speakers.
  • We invite you to submit abstracts according to the guidelines below:
  • 1. Abstracts can only be submitted online. Click Here
    Abstracts sent by email, fax or regular mail will not be accepted.
  • 2. Abstracts must be submitted in English.
  • 3. Please indicate the topic. The topic must be limited to 30 words.
  • 4. All abbreviations must be defined the first time they appear in the abstract.
  • 5. You can save and re-edit your abstracts online before the submission deadline.
    No additional proofreading or corrections will be allowed after the submission deadline.
    It is the responsibility of the authors to ensure that their text does not contain typos or grammatical errors.
  • 6. Do not use capital letters in the title except for words that are always in capitals.
  • 7. An abstract should contain Purpose, Methods, Results and Conclusion.
  • 8. The body of an abstract should be no longer than 300 words.
    Tables, diagram and pictures are NOT allowed in the abstract.
  • 9. Authors have the option of choosing their presentation type (Oral / Poster/ Oral or Poster). However, the scientific program committee will make the final decision after review.
  • 10. Acknowledgment of your submission will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the corresponding author. If you do not receive this e-mail confirmation, it means we have not received your abstract. If you are sure you have submitted it, check to make sure you sent it to the correct e-mail address.
  • 11. The e-mail you provided us will be used to notify you of the acceptance and to send you updated information. If you have any inquiries, please contact the secretariat at secretariat@sis-ap.org
  • 12. Please note that submitting an abstract does not imply registration for the congress and presenters are required to register for the conference separately.
Notification of Acceptance
  • 1. All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee according to reviewing procedures.
  • 2. Notification of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to corresponding, presenting and abstract submitting authors on June 12, 2019.
  • 3. If you have to withdraw an abstract, please notify the secretariat secretariat@sis-ap.org by May 31, 2019.
  • 4. If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by June 8, 2019 the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
